Success on initial project of designing a better experience for the company’s final expense insurance product led to being assigned to a major, months-long site audit of 10,000+ pages and development of implementation strategy for new L1-L4 page templates.
Coordinated with content strategy, design, research, SEO, analytics, and product owners to produce a future state architecture and sitemap, audit existing content, develop new content, eliminate needless pages and other tech waste, ultimately reducing the site’s carbon footprint and optimizing user experience.
Co-created a sustainment and adaptability governance framework for protecting the assets and ensuring adherence to new policies and guidelines.
Crafted beautiful human-centric experiences and collateral for both digital and non-digital touchpoints. Works included personas, journey maps, service blueprints, sketches, wireframes, research, and prototypes. Analyzed and applied research and analytics data to achieve desired outcomes, facilitated intake discussions and playbacks with stakeholders and sponsor users, led design thinking activity sessions for branch tools and home office systems/processes, and co-created on cross-functional teams in service design sprints for Operational Excellence.
Projects included extensive work with the Managing Partner’s Office designing a firm charitable giving platform, COVID-19 Relief Fund platform, and a financial literacy learning platform for underserved communities. Co-authored white paper on design thinking at Edward Jones for Executive and Management Committees.
As Creative Director, led a team of designers, researchers, architects, and strategists in alignment with business and engineering on a six-month overhaul of the company website.
Co-lead work on Sharepoint migration, team site audits, content creation, and various graphic design tasks to ensure a seamless transition to a more user-friendly, logical, and beautiful intranet experience.
Lead a team of UX designers, architects, and researchers through ideation, production, and delivery. Held daily standups and regular calls with multiple business units to ensure alignment on project objectives. Reviewed business and functional requirements and translated to design-based stories that solved for specific scenarios. Managed the UX design sprint and stakeholder playbacks, ensure smooth production, quickly removed blockers, and consistently yielded a desirable burn-down chart.
